My focus goes less to the angles and more to the health and strength of the bare hoof. I believe that should be optimized before considering a prosthetic, unless it's actually going to improve the health and strength of the foot.
Frequent proper trimming to simulate natural wear and promote healthy development works by knowing the shapes of the internal anatomy and finding the natural shapes in the external anatomy. There are more curves than straight lines inside and out — these curves need to be respected and built over time.

Mariah is wonderful, my horse loves her. My girl is easy, but the neighbors horses are a bit difficult, Mariah is very patient with them. In time they will be as easy as my horse!
